Ronald L. Baron received his Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and attained his Doctorate of Jurisprudence (JD) degree from the Delaware Law School in 1982. Ron was licensed to practice in New York State from 1983-2003 and was associate counsel with Baron & Vesel, PC. Ron served as an Adjunct Professor of Sports Law at the Delaware Law School from 1983-86 and at the University of Houston Law Center from 1986-90. He has been a licensed member of the State Bar of Texas since 1991.

Ron is highly experienced in all stages of legal service and litigation-from client intake, discovery, mediation, conferences and hearings through non-jury and jury trials. He is deeply committed to his private practice and serving the needs of other entrepreneurs and small business owners.

Previously, Ron founded The Center for Sports Law and Risk Management, Inc., in Dallas in 1986. He has counseled numerous clients in the sports, insurance and educational fields on various legal topics. Ron's client roster includes National Football League and Major League Baseball teams, major collegiate athletics programs as well as operators of stadiums and arenas. Ron was also proud to serve on a Risk Management Task Force on behalf of the United States Olympics Committee. He is the co-author of From the Gym to the Jury, a national bi-monthly newsletter. In 1994, Ron founded Sports Fantasy Tours & Events; a Dallas-based firm providing customized sports marketing programs for corporate, media and trade association clients.
